Psychic Attack and Unhealthy Energy Cords

Sometimes a person’s sting can go in, akin to a psychic dart that goes past our defense mechanisms and psychological immunity right into our energy field along with its harmful energy and intent. In shamanism we call this a psychic intrusion. 

Psychological attack and psychic assaults as well as other shadow forces are a real energy that can be insidious and wreak havoc with our lives. They can produce psychological vulnerability and compromise our energetic integrity. 

Sadly, betrayals rarely come from an enemy. They usually come from relationships where there was once trust, fondness and closeness.  Betrayals happen by family, by lovers, friends, in-laws etc not by strangers or people we hardly know. That’s what makes them so painful. 

The darker side of somebody’s nature – weather it is silent and seething or blatant and obvious can be outwardly projected and land in our energy field.  Emotions such as hate, rage and anger, jealousy and envy, resentment and revenge, competition and coldness can act like a poison arrow that affects our psyche and energy body. Whilst this energy acts on an invisible psychic level it can impact our emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. This energy is often palpable to us and can have a strong negative affect on our spiritual body. 

Emotions cannot be suppressed. They are the authentic self and soul’s feelings and we must pay attention to them. There is a difference in consciously acknowledging our hurt, anger, rage, frustration or whatever emotion we are experiencing and processing those feelings and toxically disowning, projecting and dumping them. Over the course of over a decade of work I have seen the harm this can do to a person. Shadow forces that are not acknowledged can become a dangerous and autonomous psychic field that intends to hurt, wound or even ruin a person.  

Those who attempt to dodge or take no accountability or responsibility for their part or contribution to a conflict or situation usually dump and project it all onto the other party. Meaning the psychic load and energy gets unloaded onto the person being duped or betrayed. The whole brunt of the energy goes to this person. Narcissists particularly have a cunning way of doing this and hooking into the energy fields of others for their own control and manipulation, meanwhile admitting and being accountable for absolutely nothing. 

Healing from this requires reclaiming one’s true nature, inner authority and sovereignty and subsequent personal power. This involves working with the complexities and vulnerabilities of the client’s inner psychology and energy body.  These destructive energy bonds have to be addressed both psychologically and energetically. After shamanically dislodging the energetic intrusion, energy repair work is done to heal any tears, rips and traumas to the energy body so we can free up the life force energy so as not to remain stuck in a toxic energy bind. 

Shamans are gifted seers and knowers and with the help of our helping spirits we can discern, remove and extract harmful psychic intrusions and realign the subtle bodies giving psychic protection. There are also certain benevolent practices and rituals that have been given to me from certain traditions that can be done to appease karmic and oppositional energy.
